Warnings & interactions

Warnings:

Excess use may cause hypercalcemia Use caution in kidney disease or renal stones Avoid high-dose vitamin D duplication with other supplements

Hypercalcemia (high calcium levels) Severe renal impairment or calcium kidney stones Known hypersensitivity to ingredients

Interactions:

Tetracyclines/Quinolones: Reduces antibiotic absorption due to chelation. Levothyroxine: Decreases absorption; separate dosing by 4 hours. Iron supplements: Competes for absorption; reduces effectiveness. Thiazide diuretics: May increase risk of hypercalcemia. Digoxin: Increased risk of toxicity in hypercalcemia.
